White with Cranberry

She Said:
Hi fashionistas, happy Thursday! The weather is not super hot so I am covering up a bit. I love how crisp clean white bootcut jeans look. I am a fan of bootcut jeans, always have been! These are from True Religion Brand Jeans; they are bright white, with a tan stitching. I added this cranberry loose top from H&M. It is not as tight as he likes, of course but it still is a nice bold color for spring. I paired it with this chunky bubble necklace from Forever 21. I love that it can transition into many lengths and stands out against the cranberry. These round pave stud earrings are from Aldo, love the color matches beautifully with the necklace.  My Shoedazzle booties are suede with fringe on the side and I only wanted to show the pointed toe. They always have great finds and deals! My clutch is a great neutral from Tory Burch; I love the mauve color and thick strap. I added a cranberry lip gloss and thickened my eye liner just a bit for a more vivid look. It is another casual look but dressy enough to go happy hour with friends or a nice restaurant.

He Said:
Today’s outfit is too boring and old, by old I mean the top seems like it would fit a much older woman rather than her. I like the white pants they look great on her, the only down side to them is it doesn’t really matter what shoes your wearing because you can’t see them, and that sucks because it takes out the aspect or chance you had to impress with the shoes; which is huge. I love her clutch but it doesn’t fit here with the rest of her outfit.  It may sound right about now that I hate this outfit but I don’t.  I just don’t like this look and the pieces together.

The Striped Blouse

She Said:
I really love a top that can be worn with any bottom paired with it and will last more than a few washes! This top is the one, a striped blue and white blouse. I have worn it multiple times already and I love how soft it is, holds its shape and the stripes don’t bleed into one another. I cuffed the sleeves for a more casual approach. I paired this top with a pale neon yellow pair jeans that have zipper detailing. I love these same as yesterday a find at Forever 21! They match nicely with a pair of sexy heels from Baker Shoes I wore on my birthday. They have multi colored studs and a think strap on the toe. The white heel is dressy but fits with these yellow skinnies. The clutch actually matches the heels, cheesy I know but I liked the shape and I usually don’t wear them together but they worked today. My necklace was a gift from a friend, I love the tassel ends and gold is always a pretty metal to work with. My two bracelets are from Forever 21, a cross and loose one. I always need a little bling to go with my look. So really if you have a blouse that goes with everything, wear it and wear it as many times as you want!

He Said:
This outfit reminds me of one the first outfits we posted about almost a year ago call sailor inspired or something like that and I really liked that outfit. I like the stripes but the top is a little too loose fitting to have a high sex appeal. The yellow pants look great also, and really go well with her gold accents. But what I really love is how she has a clutch with matching heels, I have never seen this before and it looks great. If you can match heels and your clutch, this is going to stand out to me.

Pink and Blue from Forever 21

She Said:
We missed you yesterday, but we are back. Hope everyone had a great weekend and Monday!

Pink and blue are great colors and the pink seems to overpower the blue, which in today’s outfit does just that. These pink pants are one of the most comfortable jeans I own, and they are from Forever 21! They are skinny cut right at the ankle, perfect for cuffing. The color exudes a beautiful highlighter pink. They go with any white or black nicely, but adding blue is complementary and Springy. This Chambray is a recent purchase from Forever 21. It is a light distressed wash, a little oversized, but it looks tailored when tucked in like I did. I kept my jewelry to a minimum due to my layering on top. This jacket, also a Forever 21 find, is great to throw over. I love the white and blue pinstripe with the detailed pockets on the side. I added a snakeskin belt from Steve Madden, to add a little wild aspect, plus a skinny belt looks fab with hot pink denim, don’t you agree? My beige Mossimo flats are from Target, and were 2 for $25.00. I kept my hair simple and straight using my Nunaat hair product and Sexy Straight Hair smooth protect which is amazing. It is a comfy Tuesday. Have a wonderful day everyone.

He Said:
Today’s outfit is great because it is feminine but still professional. I see too many girls who dress professionally and end up looking masculine in the process. That’s not a bad thing, but it would just be nice to have the option to switch it up a bit. I like her jacket, but I would have liked to have seen a different colored shirt or wear the same shirt and change the jacket. The blues are just throwing me off a little. Her hot pink jeans are great. They are bright, feminine and remind me a little of “Legally Blonde.” Her flats are just boring. I have nothing in particular against these flats; I just find all flats boring. You know you’re going to have a great Tuesday regardless of what happens when you appear looking like this.

Elegant in Green

She Said:
So I know what you are thinking. A green dress! Really, Chelsea? Yes, let’s be bold this Spring. Add a cute colored dress to your closet; they are everywhere right now - in every style! This one I found last year on Hot Miami Styles.com. It is a strapless grass green woven style dress, perfect for a wedding or a dinner date The same dress is in coral here. I paired it another trend, the floral blazer. Though this is not a very colorful one, this monochromatic Inbloom satin blazer from Guess is a wonderful piece. I love the clean lines and it looks great with a dramatic looking dress. Here are two other choices from Blue Fly and Target. These beautiful chandelier earrings are from Julie Vos. Seriously Julie makes incredible pieces with the most incredible stones! My heels are a purchase he made that I wanted from Ebay. They are Colin Stuart heels and guess how much? $23.00! A great deal for a classy looking heel. I paired this with my black snakeskin knuckle clutch; it ties these heels and the black in the blazer. I added a dramatic oxblood lipstick from MAC, and parted my hair a little differently today. Wishing all of my friends a wonderful Friday!

He Said:
I like today’s outfit because of the dress and her accessories, I am not sure however about her jacket, I will get to that later. The dress is great because of the stand out green, which normally I am not a huge fan of. But it looks good here and I attribute that to the style of the dress. The heels are one of my favorites, but from what I understand they’re not too comfortable. That’s important because when she is not comfortable it shows. I love the clutch, but the earrings are a little too big and really do not do anything for the rest of the outfit. Overall I can’t get over the pattern on her jacket, it just reminds me too much of 90’s outdoor furniture.

Grapefruit with Lemon

She Said:
Happy Thursday everyone! I am sharing the look that I wore on Sunday. He and I decided to go out to a mimosa brunch in Hermosa Beach, it was sunny and a perfect day to do so. This dress is such a pretty color! It is from Bebe and the satin top with the flirty bottom is girlie, similar color here. I wore it with a swimsuit under, so it was an easy cover-up to put on. But I could dress it up with wedges for nighttime. I added my bow fedora from Forever 21, the black ribbon is a nice contrast and straw hats are always a favorite of mine. I added this Olivia and Joy purse from our swag bag at Lucky Fabb! The gold chain strap is well-designed and adds a pop of color that complements my grapefruit colored dress. This Avalon Crescent necklace from Stella and Dot is pure beauty, I love the shape and it stands out with a strapless dress. I added a few bracelets, like my infinity rhinestone one from Posh Grid. I straightened my hair and added a heavy shimmer to my cheeks. A simple gold t-sandal is all I needed to finish the look.

He Said:
Today is another outfit where I love everything that she is wearing, but nothing seems to flow or fit together well. The pink dress is great and looks great on her but why a yellow bag? And if that wasn't enough she is wearing a fedora. Now I normally like fedoras but when I am already seeing that things are not flowing it just adds to the mess - like in this situation. Today is an outfit where maybe just the dress and the bag would look good or just the dress and fedora would look good but when you combine all those things and add some sandals you are asking for disaster.

Watercolor Dress

She Said:
Happy Wednesday! Obviously I love the sun, so when I can match our amazing weather with an outfit I am a happy girl. Today is all about a stunning almost watercolor like strapless dress from Marshalls, similar here. It has a bit of wire so that it stays up but it certainly is formed fitting. The purples and blues remind me of a watercolor I painted my brother so I hold this dress on a high pedestal. It had pockets and a sweetheart neckline. I added a gold yellow linen blazer from Forever 21, what a pop of color! I added my Julie Vos cuff bracelet that matches exactly. I have these turquoise hoop earrings which are simple and a stone ring from Aldo. This perfect Tory Burch off white clutch is subtle and shining with the gold emblem. I pulled my hair back in a pony tail and added bronzed checks and gold lip-gloss. Lastly, these Baker Shoe heels are sky high with patent leather and suede, pretty printed ones here. This whole look reminds me of a great piece of art, I need to attend a nearby art walk now, so I can blend in!

He Said:
Today’s outfit is really just ok, I am not a fan of her dress and the jacket does nothing when you pair it with this dress. Her heels I love, but not even they can save this outfit. Her dress is unflattering and does not do any justice to her body. One of the main reasons I dislike this dress so much is probably because I have seen her in many others that look amazing on her and this one gives her body a different shape. Her jacket could look good if paired right, I am just not sure what that would be right now because I can’t get over how much I detest this dress in general. One great thing about today is her hair and make-up is one of my favorite styles she plays with. I absolutely love her hair pulled back, it brings out her face and the beautiful job she does applying her make-up.
